Meet Dr. Condren Berry

Dr Berry adjusting childWhat Dr. Berry loves most about chiropractic care is the many stories of transformation. He sees patients come into the office discouraged and complaining of a limitation in their daily lives, only to help them get relief and get back to who they can be.

An Education and His Mother’s Influence

Dr. Berry always knew he wanted to do something in the health field but was unsure of the direction he should take. While at the University of Winnipeg, his mother had a horrible low back, sciatic-type flare-up. She wasn’t getting the needed results with traditional care, just lots of pain meds for temporary relief. After beginning care with a chiropractor, Dr. Berry’s mom started to improve, which piqued his interest.

Discovering His Calling and a Philosophical Fit

Feeling a call to pursue the field, Dr. Berry began looking into a career in this care method. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, he moved to Toronto and realized the chiropractic philosophy aligned with his life philosophy. Convinced, Dr. Berry enrolled in the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991.

Dr. Berry’s Career in the Present Day

Fast forward over 30 years, and Dr. Berry is thriving. He leads Okanagan Chiropractic Center with Dr. Kornelson and stays informed on any new advancements in the field so he can provide the best quality care. Unlike some practitioners, he has always focused on the wellness aspect of care in his practice and the body’s innate ability to heal itself if it can.

“When nerve interference blocks that ability, we eliminate it so the body can work to the best of its ability.”

A Typical Penticton Life Away From the Practice

When he is away from the practice, you can find Dr. Berry and his wife outdoors, being active, either biking on the gravel trails or hiking. He’s done several triathlons, loves swimming in the lakes, and attends open-water swimming events yearly. “We also enjoy skiing and other outdoor activities—a typical Penticton lifestyle.”

While their children are now grown, everyone is within driving distance, so they visit frequently, or the kids will come home, bringing their young grandson with them.
